Earlier this month, the Temple Grandin Equine Center opened its doors for an evening that mixed a taco dinner, a silent auction, and the private screening of Rescued Hearts — First Hour, the documentary sparked by a seven-year-old with autism who spoke his first words beside a horse.
We came together to eat, tour the barn, meet the horses who do this work, and watch a film that captures exactly why this program exists. If you gave, bid, showed up, or shared the event with a friend, thank you. Every gift that night goes straight toward keeping Concho free for the families who need it.
A few highlights from the evening: guests met the herd during facility and barn tours, bidding on the silent auction continued online and in person right up until the film started, and the screening filled the arena. It was, simply, a good night for this community.
